Is the game rigged?

Please know that ensuring fairness for all players is a top priority for Match Masters. We have no interest in favoring any specific player over another, and we strongly believe that creating a fun and fair environment for everyone is crucial.

Why do I keep losing?

Feeling like you’re always on the losing end can be quite disappointing, especially when you put in your best efforts into the game. Setbacks are bound to happen now and then due to skilled opponents or difficult game modes, but we're sure that you'll see more wins soon!

Can you lose after purchasing an offer? Is the game pay-to-win?

Our goal is for every player to have a fun and exciting experience. Match Masters is designed to be fair and enjoyable for all players, whether they choose to make purchases or not. Buying items can offer some advantages, but it doesn’t guarantee a win. The outcome of each match depends a lot on strategy and the players' skill levels.

Can you lose with a stronger booster?

Our matchmaking system takes into account various elements and different factors to ensure fair and exciting matchups. Here at Match Masters, we're dedicated to constantly refining our game to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for everyone. We carefully monitor and adjust the game to maintain a balanced competition. While using a stronger booster can increase your chances of winning, it does not guarantee an automatic win. The unpredictability of the game is what makes it exciting!

Can you lose against weaker boosters?

While using a higher-tiered booster can lead to scoring more points, it does not guarantee a win. It's only one of the factors that contribute to the result of a match, along with the player's skill, the booster and game mode combination, and a few others. The more you play, and the more you find the best strategies, the more you'll win!

Do opponents have more time? Is my timer faster?

Both players get the same amount of time each turn. The reason you sometimes see the opponent's timer appearing slower is due to the freeze feature in the game that stops the time during animations and booster activations. This means if a player activates their booster multiple times, or gets a lot of extra moves in a single turn, their turn can feel longer due to the brief pauses to the timer each time an animation must play out.

I couldn't match the blue pieces. How can I use my booster?

You can try many different strategies to fill up your booster as much as possible. Some boosters and perks can eliminate many pieces from the board or add extra blues.

Why am I always on the blue side? Why do I always have the blue pieces?

The opponent is always red, and your opponent sees it the same way, too. For them, you will always be red! You will always be on the blue side in order to avoid confusion between your pieces and your opponent's pieces.

Why do my opponents have more extra moves?

Ensuring the game is fair for all players is a top priority. Boosters and game modes can influence the board in a large variety of ways, and it's up to the players to find the strategy that would lead to creating the most extra moves.

Are there any bots or AI opponents in Match Masters?

No, Match Masters only has real, human versus human competitions! Matchmaking is designed to pair you with the closest available player at the time of starting a match, which can sometimes result in more challenging opponents, but you will always face off against real players.

My opponent is using too many emotes. Can I mute them?

You can always mute your opponent by pressing your game chat and selecting the ‘mute opponent’ checkbox. If you’d like to unmute them, you can uncheck the box, and your opponent will be able to talk to you through the given animations.

What are Credits? How do I earn them?

Playing mini-games will earn you some Credits, which are used to go on a shopping spree at the Prize Center. You can find more about the Arcade in our articles here: Temporary Events.

Why can't I access your Facebook page? Was I blocked from your Facebook page?

Please check if you may have accidentally blocked our page: Block or unblock profiles from your Facebook Page. Users can be blocked from our page for spamming, abusive language, or violating our community guidelines. Our goal is to keep the page friendly and safe for everyone!

How can I report another player for hacking or cheating?

We take all claims very seriously, so we appreciate your help with keeping Match Masters fair and safe for all of our players! When contacting us, please include as many details as possible: what happened, when it happened, and the reported player's username. Screenshots or any supporting evidence would help us out a lot with our investigation as well!

What should I do if I’m having trouble using a discount or promotion (coupons, gift cards, codes, Play Points) offered by Google?

If you don’t see your Google coupon at checkout, please make sure the purchase amount is greater than the coupon amount. Google coupons will only be visible and available to use if the offer you’re purchasing costs more than the value of your coupon. If this doesn’t solve your issue, these promotions are managed by Google, so our team doesn’t have access to assist directly. We're sure their support can help:

Why are there no more Sparks in the mini-games? How can I earn Sparks?

Sparks will no longer be awarded in mini-games. They will be available from winning Daily Mode matches and events, so look out for your favorite game mode to help you complete your stories faster!

Why is my reward or offer different from other players?

Some prizes and sales may look different for some players, based on how they engage with the game. This way, each player gets an experience that’s more enjoyable and better suited to their playstyle.

How come I activated my booster, but I didn't get any good moves or the right colors? 

Most boosters in Match Masters have dynamic effects each time they're activated. This keeps every match fresh and full of surprises and invites players to find the best way to score the most points based on the various results.

How can I use my Mini Game Tokens? Why can't I play a mini-game?

Mini-games do not currently have a fixed schedule, so they won't be available every day. You'll never have to wait too long, though, so keep an eye out for your favorite mini-game!

Why did the activation cost of boosters change?

We sometimes adjust booster costs to keep the game fresh! We’re always looking for ways to balance the game and keep it interesting. Boosters can also have a different cost based on the game mode you are playing, so make sure you take a look at the rules before starting a match. You can find all of them here: List of Modifiers.

Someone sent a link that promises rewards in my team's chat. Is it real?

We will never promote any websites, events, or gifts through team chats. If you see links that promise freebies, they may be fraudulent or unsafe, so please contact us to report any suspicious links. For free prizes, check the in-game news and our Help Center article: Get Free Prizes.
