Congratulations for starting a team in Match Masters! With great power comes great responsibility, and in this case, some great management tools. Here's everything you can do as a team owner:
Change Team Settings
Do you only want experienced players on your team? Do you want to share a Discord server with newcomers? Both of those things and more can be found in your team's settings screen!
- Start by tapping the Info button in the top-right corner of the Teams tab.
- Then, press the "EDIT" button.
- As the team owner, you get to customize your team to your liking!
Kicking Users
Not every player is a perfect match. If someone's inactive or causing trouble, you can politely (or not-so-politely) show them the door.
- Head to the Teams screen, then access the "My Team" tab at the top.
- Press the "MORE INFO" button next to the player you'd like to remove.
- If you select "REMOVE FROM TEAM," that player will still be able to join again in the future. If your team has the Closed status, they will need an invite in order to do so.
- If you select "BAN," that player may never join the team again.
- You can also ban a player by tapping on their profile picture in the team chat. This means you can even ban players who left the team!
- To unban a player, you can tap on their profile picture in the team chat, and select "REMOVE BAN."
Pin Messages
Want to make sure everyone sees an important message or reminder? Pin it!
- Write a message in the team chat (you can only pin your own messages).
- Press the red tack icon in the top-right corner of your chat message.
- To unpin it, tap the red tack with an "X" on it in the top-right corner of the billboard.
- Pro Tip: You can only pin one message at a time, so if you pin a new one, the old one disappears faster than your opponent's booster after you show them your skills!
Promote and Demote Teammates
Want to give trusted teammates more responsibility? You can promote them to Admins! But if they start slacking off, you can always demote them too.
- Head to the Teams screen, then access the "My Team" tab at the top.
- Press the "MORE INFO" button next to the player you'd like to promote.
- Tap the "PROMOTE TO ADMIN" button.
- Once a teammate is an Admin, you can either demote them back to a member or promote them again to transfer ownership of your team.
Remove Messages
Sometimes, things can get heated between passionate players. Whether someone sent a message by mistake or there's something inappropriate, you can clean it up in a few seconds.
- Tap the trashcan icon in the top-right corner of the message you'd like to delete.
- You can easily moderate your team chat!
