Cannot Update to the Latest Version

Each Match Masters update brings exciting new features, bug fixes, or both!

If you are unable to see the latest version of our app on the App Store or Google Play, please follow the steps below.

Google

1. Ensure Google Play Services is Updated
Open the Google Play app, then search for Google Play Services. If an update is available, please install it.

2. Force Stop & Clear Cache for the Google Play Store
Open the Settings on your Android device, then press the following buttons: Apps & Notifications -> select the Google Play Store -> Force Stop.

After doing that, also tap Storage & Cache, then, finally, select Clear Cache and Clear Storage.

Once you followed these steps, please reopen Google Play and check if the update is available.

3. Check for Device-Specific Rollout Issues
Some updates may be delayed due to compatibility checks for your device. If you are unable to play without the latest update, and you have a different device available, please try installing Match Masters on that different device while being linked to the same Google account.

Apple

1. Refresh the App Store
Open the App Store, then tap on your profile icon in the top right corner. Please swipe down to refresh the page, and then look for available updates.

2. Clear App Store Cache
Please open the App Store, then tap one of the navigation icons (e.g., Today, Games, or Apps) 10 times rapidly. The App Store will refresh, potentially making the update available.

3. Restart Your iPhone/iPad
Please power off your device completely, then wait a few seconds, and turn it back on. Open the App Store and check for updates.

4. Check for iOS Updates
Sometimes, new app versions require the latest iOS version.
Go to Settings > General > Software Update.
If an update is available, please install it, then restart your device.

Still not seeing the update?

If you've tried all of the steps above for your respective platform, and you still can not see the latest version, please try the following:

1. Wait a few hours and check again. Updates can take time to propagate.
2. Uninstall and reinstall the app. This forces the store to fetch the latest version. Please make sure your Match Masters is linked to an Apple, Google, or Facebook account before doing so, in order to not lose access to your Match Masters account.
